Gerry became a Licensed Broker in 1975 and spent one year selling Residential Real Estate and two years with Terragreen Properties leasing and selling Commercial property. He joined Weber Real Estate in 1978, specializing in Commercial, Industrial Leasing, Sales and Land Assembly, primarily in the North East sector of the City.
In 1983 Gerry became involved in the incorporation of CMS Real Estate Ltd. Presently, Gerry has completed many years in Leasing and Sales of Commercial, Investment and Industrial Real Estate. Gerry currently specializes in development or re-development of commercial, industrial or residential sites. Gerry successfully completed the Certified Commercial Investment program and was awarded his Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) designation on October 15, 1988.
A CCIM designation denotes a recognized expert in the disciplines of commercial and investment real estate. A CCIM is an invaluable resource to the commercial real estate owner, investor, and user, and is among an elite corps of more than 9,000 professionals who hold the CCIM designation across North America and more than 30 countries.
Nearly 10,000 additional professionals are pursuing the CCIM designation. Only six percent of an estimated 150,000 commercial real estate practitioners hold the CCIM designation, which reflects not only the caliber of the program, but also why it is one of the most coveted and respected designations in the industry. The CCIM membership network mirrors the increasingly changing nature of the industry and includes brokers, leasing professionals, investment counselors, asset managers, appraisers, corporate real estate executives, property managers, developers, institutional investors, commercial lenders, attorneys, bankers and other allied professionals. Through this business network, CCIM members successfully complete thousands of transactions annually, representing more than $200 billion in value.

Maureen has been associated with CMS Real Estate Ltd. since 1983. Having successfully completed her CMA in 1986, she provided residential property management services to many of Gerry Macdonald's clients.
She had over 10 years experience as Controller with a general contractor and developer, involved in all aspects of construction, development, financing and management.
In 1988, she joined CMS Real Estate Ltd. full time and has successfully managed numerous residential, commercial and industrial properties for over twenty years.
She has utilized her associate broker licensing to complete leasing and sales in industrial and residential areas. Maureen manages the office support staff and overseas the Mortgage Investment Corporations portfolio of over $30 million dollars.

JOHN HAMILTON
Commercial & Residential Agent
John became licensed and started his real estate career with FJR and Associates in 1977. He spent five successful years with FJR, then, transferred to Royal Lepage Commercial Division. In the three years with Royal Lepage, John worked in all areas of Commercial, Industrial and Investment Real Estate.
In 1985, he decided to specialize in the Apartment Market and joined Brydon Real Estate Ltd. Later, John acquired an interest in Brydon, and has been Investor, Owner and Developer of Commercial and Industrial Real Estate.
John joined CMS Real Estate Ltd. in December 1988 and specializes in Development and Sales of Commercial and Investment Real Estate.

GERRY GARVEY
Mortgage Broker and Commercial & Residential Agent
Gerry has dedicated over 30 years to the mortgage lending industry. Gerry completed his Business Administration at Red River College in Winnipeg, MB, in 1976. He firmly believes that you never stop learning and has continued to upgrade his skills and training. He has completed the Canadian Securities Course and has taken many courses over the years at the University of Calgary in Commercial Real Estate Finance and International Finance at Calgary’s Mount Royal College.
Over the years Gerry has arranged many different types of financing: from a condo project in Mexico; to condo conversions; to construction financing of all types of commercial and industrial properties. Gerry has a special talent in creative financing and structuring complex financial arrangements that traditional institutions are unable to get done. He has arranged syndications, real estate tax shelters, and equity financing.
When Gerry is not at work he is active in his community and serves on the board of directors of The Backdoor, an organization that helps street kids get off the street. He also is actively involved with the Alberta Mortgage Brokers Association, helping in a recent fund raising effort which generated over $100,000 for an affordable housing project. He has fundraised for the University of Calgary music dept. and also for the Arctic Research Institute, based at the University of Calgary.

TRISH WAGNER
Office & Real Estate Administrator
Trish has over 20 years of experience in Administration and Customer Service prior to joining CMS Real Estate Ltd. in July of 2005.
Trish previously worked at a major corporate relocation service company (Real Estate) as an executive administrator for seven years and at a major corporate moving company for seven years.
Trish is now our office administrator and Real estate administrator. Her skills and experience have greatly enhanced the professional talent offered by CMS.

SHARYN MITCHELMORE
Property Manager
Sharyn joined CMS Real Estate Ltd. in 2007. Prior to joining CMS, Sharyn worked in Calgary’s Transportation Industry for 20 years where her roles included business development, marketing, customer service and office administration.
After taking a one year leave-of-absence, Sharyn accepted the position of property manager at CMS. Her contribution to the management of the properties has greatly enhanced the service CMS provides to our clients

Brad joined our team in May, 2008. Brad brings youthful enthusiasm, productivity and efficiency. With eight years of customer service and sales experience Brad has strong rapport building skills and a genuine desire to help others. Prior to working with CMS, he worked in the automotive finance industry as an underwriter for the past three years with a brief stint in business development within that same industry. He is excited to have made the change to mortgage underwriting. Brad’s knowledge of automotive underwriting meshes well with CMS and has allowed Brad to diversify his underwriting skill set. He has realized that it takes hard work and perseverance to get to where you want to be in life and will not stop until all his goals, dreams and aspirations are met.

KIM OSBORNE
Mortgage & Investor Administrator
Kim Osborne was born in Birmingham, England. She moved to Canada with her family in 1965. Kim is a proud mother of four, and even prouder grandmother of five. Kim’s extensive computer background has helped CMS adopt a new computer program to manage CMS’s mortgage portfolio and investor portfolio worth over $30 million. She has 20 years of computer design and layout experience.
Having owned her own printing business for five years, Kim understands all aspects of the business world. She joined CMS in 2006 and is enjoying her new endeavour greatly.

Leo Virdis |
Leo was principal and manager of F.G.V. Woodworker Ltd., a furniture manufacturer for 10 years. He was also responsible for design and building office warehousing and other retail construction. Since 2004, he is the project manager for 360522 Alberta Ltd., involved in planning & supervision of the construction of various commercial projects.
